Background of Jessica W.'s story:
Jessica took the course in 2011 when she left an accountant job and joined a bank in downtown Toronto as a Senior Financial Analyst. She felt stressed as it took way too long to finish what she needed. In one particular task, she had already spent a whole week, including evenings and weekends overtime, and still could not complete it due to the large volume of 200,000 records. In the second class, she asked me about the problem. I showed her how, by using just two functions from the second class, the whole thing could be done in 5 minutes. You bet she was happy for making the decision to take this Super Excel course. This case is now taught in the second module of SE2 Super Excel Data Processing & Analysis course.
I attended Steve’s live online Super Excel Modelling & Array Formulas course in the summer of 2020. I also took an in-person course with Steve approximately 8 years ago, which allowed me to successfully pass an Excel test for a senior financial analyst position and then be able to handle large amounts of data processing and analysis. I would say the online Zoom class was just as effective as taking in person – Steve thoroughly explained the concepts we were going to learn and walked us through the practice files before we tested our knowledge on the files individually while Steve took our questions as they came up.
